Summary: Rollins’ sister returns battered and pregnant. When the situation escalates, Rollins resorts to dire actions, leading to Internal Affairs to open an investigation.
The show opens with Rollins/Finn at a scene of a woman and man fighting. We see that the it was a set up. The group then goes to the shooting range. Rollins did the best. She goes home to se the door is open. She goes in and sees her sister, Kim. She shows her that she’s been beaten and she tells her that she’s pregnant.
Kim tells Rollins about what happened. She says that she thinks that Jeff, her boyfriend, is coming for her.
Rollins tells Fin about her sister. The group says that they want to help, but she says she doesn’t need it.
Amaro/Finn go to see Jeff at a bar. They tell him to go back to Georgia before leaving.
Rollins tells Kim that they talked to Jeff while they are shopping for baby clothes. Jeff comes in and she tells him to stay away from Kim and he says that it’s not over.
At home, they are filling out a restraining order. They go to the judge to get the order. They get it. She has Benson/Finn deliver the papers.
Finn/Benson bring him the papers and he’s not happy about it.
Kim comes in to the police station but Rollins isn’t there. She starts flirting with Amaro and he orders her Chinese food. Rollins is at her gamblers anonymous meeting. Amaro/Rollins are eating. Rollins comes in. Kragen comes in talking about the pizza delivery rapist striking again. Rollins/Amaro go to the scene.
Rollins goes home to find Jeff and Kim fighting and he’s punching her. He pulls out a gun and Rollins shoots him dead.
Rollins is telling Kragen/Benson what happened. IA comes in. Benson takes her away to get checked out.
At the hospital and meets with her delegate, Dede. Dede recommends Rollins meet with a psychologist. Finn comes to see her. Amaro goes to see Kim. Amaro says that the rape kit would help Rollins.
Rollins meets with the psychologist. She says she will be fine. She says she’s always had to clean after Kim’s mess. Psycholgist says she wants a follow up session.
Amaro talks to Captain aobut his gun. Finn says that the nighbors talked about the yelling of them. Benson sys that IA still gonna try to take Rollins down.
Kim talks with IA. Rollins talks with IA. The head says that if ballistic matches then she will be ok.
Finn brings Kim/Rollins to his apartment. Kim gets a call and leaves the room. Finn talks to Rollins but she brushes it off. She gets a mysterious call saying ’what if that’s not the way things happen’.
Kim goes to meet with Tucker. She says that she needs to tell him something. Tucker meets with Amaro. They talk about her relationship with Jeff. He brings up a situation in Atlanta when Rollins threatened Jeff. Then when Jeff attacked Kim 4 months ago.
Rollins confronts Kim. They fight she says she can’t because then they won’t get the money. She says she took a life insurance check on Jeff. She says her name is on it too. Kim says that if they make it look like an accident then they will be rich.
Rollins brings Tucker the life insurance policy saying that she was forged on the policy. They go over her jacket and her gambling problem and debt. Tucker doesn’t believe that she knew about the policy.
Finn tells Rollins to get a lawyer but says she can’t because then Kim would get into trouble.
Kim meets with Tucker. They talk about the life insurance policy. She says it was Rollins idea to get the policy.
Rollins says that Kim is missing. Kragen calls Rollins in. She tells him what’s been going on. Finn says they saw Kim get into an unmarked police car. Tucker comes in and arrests Rollins.
Rollins getting her mug shots and finger prints done. She makes her one phone call before going into jail. Her lawyer shows up.
Kragen calls in the group. They talk about all the evidence. They think that Kim tried to set Jeff up so that he would get shot.
Arraignment. She gets bailed out by Kragen. They tell her that Kim set her up. Her lawyer tells her not to talk to Kim.
Rollins goes to Kim’s hotel room. She confronts her and she admits that she set Rollins up. She always says that she’s not pregnant before Rollins walks out.
Rollins meets with the psychologist. She tells her that she’s being charged with murder and that her sister set her up. She says that she works for NYPD but can recommend someone for her.
Kim goes to see Amaro. She says she wants to talk and he takes her out to dinner so they can talk. She tells him she lost her baby. Kim admits that she just wanted Jeff gone.
Tucker hears the conversation through Amaro’s cell. Tucker says that he’s going to arrest her but Amanda doesn’t want her to get in trouble.
Tucker goes to arrest Kim but she’s not in the room.
Rollins goes back to her apartment and everything is gone. There is note that says ‘I helped myself to some things. I’m sorry. Love you Amanda’.
