Law Abiding Citizen was released on DVD and
Blu-ray on February 16, 2010.
Law Abiding Citizen, the $73 million theatrical powerhouse starring Gerard Butler and Academy Award® winner Jamie Foxx, continued its winning streak from the silver screen to the small screen this week, as it beat all new video titles released the week of February 16 to become the #1 home entertainment release for both sell-through and rentals.
The announcement was made by Bill Clark, President, Anchor Bay Entertainment in a press release.
"Audiences cannot get enough of Law Abiding Citizen," remarked Clark. "We're especially proud that for the Blu-ray, we presented an all-new unrated director's cut that's even more thrilling than what played in theaters."
The film, released by Overture Films, in October 2009, has grossed over $108 million worldwide since its bow in theaters.
This was the first release from Butler's production company, Evil Twins. He also served as a producer on the film.
