LAUSD no longer has schools, they have factories

The factories produce data.

Formerly, the schools prepared the students for the next grades and for life.

Now, the factories prepare students to produce test scores.

The test scores are data that keep the downtown administrators and bureaucrats busy analyzing, publicizing, and criticizing.

LAUSD is data; LAUSD is test scores; LAUSD is spending millions more on additional tests and millions on test preparation materials.

LAUSD is preparing the students to be followers not leaders, subservient workers, not challengers, direction followers not outside the box thinkers.

They should change the name to LAUDD which means Los Angeles Unified Dumb Down, or LAUFD which means Los Angeles Unified Future Diminished.

The schools can be reclassified as factories.
