A massive Jacqueline Laurita $340,000 debt is among the top TV news on Saturday with the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star facing a big tax bill. Jacqueline, a regular on "RHONJ" since season 1, must come up with the money or risk her assets being seized.
According to TMZ on March 2, the exact amount that the NJ Division of Taxation has filed as a tax lien against Laurita is $338,337.05. As of this report, it's unknown exactly which year the taxes are owed for. With that situation, Laurita joins fellow New Jersey housewives Danielle Staub and Teresa Giudice in terms of "financial crises." The two reality television "stars" are both said to be in the middle of bankruptcy.
Laurita, currently age 42, is wife to Chris Laurita and a stay-at-home mother to two sons Chris Jr. and Nicholas. Jacqueline also has a teenage daughter named Ashley who was the center of a lot of drama in season 2, and even a lawsuit. Laurita is also known for her feud with castmate Teresa Giudice, which got heated on Twitter, and even extended to the reunion for Season 3, which Jacqueline chose not to attend due to her dislike of Giudice.
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" currently airs on Bravo in Roanoke on Cox Cable channel 41. The reality TV series finished Season 4 back in September of 2012 with reunion shows in the same month and October.
