Actor Laurence Fishburne stars in the new Hallmark Hall of Fame holiday movie Have a Little Faith Sunday night November 27 at 8:00 p-m central time on the ABC network which for Birmingham viewers is WCFT channel 12 on cable.

In the feel good drama, Fishburne plays Pastor Henry Covington a man who struggled with addiction in his past and eventually turned his life around. His character befriends Mitch played by Bradley Whitford (The West Wing). In an appearance on Good Morning America which ran this past Thanksgiving the veteran actor of such films as What’s Love Got to Do with It, The Matrix, Boyzn The Hood, Apocalypse Now, Searching for Bobby Fischer and Contagion said the role was too good to pass up. Have a Little Faith also stars Martin Landau, Anika Noni Rose and Mykelti Williamson and is based on the New York Tines Best-selling book by writer Mitch Albom.
