Lauren Conrad doesn't have that family-friendly relationship with Kelly Cutrone, according to Miss Cutrone as Miss Cutrone does with Whitney Port.
Kelly mentions that Lauren and her do talk and stuff whenever they do meet up with each other, but Lauren doesn't call Kelly or go over to her house on holidays.
Whitney however does go see Kelly and call her whenever she can for whatever advice and companionship Whitney needs at her convenience.
Kelly has always been in Whitney's corner for the last three years helping Whitney to launch her clothing line and has accepted Whitney as a second daughter.
Though Lauren never shows extended love to Kelly Cutrone or Kelly with LC vice-versa, Lauren proves she doesn't need Kelly all that much for her own success.
Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port are two different people, they both have different needs, Whitney needs Kelly Cutrone to survive in fashion, Lauren doesn't.
