Lauren Conrad's new MTV reality show got scrapped because it wasn't a good fit and there were no personal elements with the show, according to LC.
With that said, Lauren Conrad is reluctant, and for good reason to display anything outside her professional life right now, all due to the fact that she wants to be taken seriously as a fashion designer.
There is some understanding there where other reality stars have more than let their guard down when it comes to their lives with the chance of not being taken seriously over time.
Lauren has proved to be honest when it comes to her description of fashion and passion for the entire art form, but it seems like MTV doesn't appreciate Lauren's aspirations anymore.
While its' all about slash and burn one another at MTV now, there has to be some type of connection Lauren shares with the audience as far as her personal life is concerned.
Maybe MTV can forgive Lauren Conrad for lambasting them after scrapping her show, and both Lauren and MTV can come to an agreement to air her latest piece of work if she were to do some new version of The Hills (new name needed) with maybe Whitney Port and other notables showcasing her personal life.
This reporter will go out on a limb to say that it's Lauren Conrad's agents and publicists that are pushing her in this keep it professional direction for the sake of her fashion future.
On a limb again, truth be told, this reporter believes Lauren Conrad truthfully does not mind sharing everything about her to the world, it's the matter of boyfriends, family, friends, and agents that are advising Lauren to be a role model to others.
That said, Lauren Conrad should not hold back all the things that made her a success in the first place.
If Lauren Conrad has these instincts this reporter has, then go out and have fun with your fame and fortune, you'll have a much longer ride because of it, life's too short to bite the hand that feeds you.
So now, all we can do is wait, wait to see what MTV... and Lauren Conrad... have to say tomorrow.

You're an idiot if you believe that. The girl clearly got more miserable as the years went on and MTV twisted and scripted her "personal life" to suit their ratings, making up stories and putting her in uncomfortable situations. Kudos to her for sticking to her guns, and screw MTV for being a piece of garbage. I will always be a fan of hers, but I respect her right to privacy. Personally, I would have been thrilled to watch a show about her professional endeavors.
this article is absolute BS!! anyone who has watched every episode of the hills since day 1 knows that lauren absolutely wanted nothing more than to keep her personal life personal in the end. its not agents telling her this! although i'm sure if she wants to be a successful high end designer, she probably knows its for the better to be taken seriously and not some reality star bimbo.
she's not willing to sell her soul to the devils of hollywood any longer and have her life manipulated. she'd rather have her work judged than her personal life.
Got something to say?
