The former star of "The Hills," Lauren Conrad, is firing back at a magazine she's graced the cover of in the past.

"Allure" magazine had some unfortunate opinions of their former cover girl in their feature titled "Beauty & a Beat." In short, the article called the former reality star "basic." Coincidentally enough, Conrad is now a super successful fashion designer with two popular lines, "Paper Crown" and "LC by Lauren Conrad."

The article didn't just stop with their "basic" comments, they furthered with, ""Made famous by Kreayshawn, and viral by YouTube, the Basic woman is remarkably unremarkable. What's noteworthy about her style is its very plainness. Except to her. She swears those red soled shoes are cutting-edge," the article states, adding that "basic" girls are known for their "skinny jeans" and "blowout or sausage curls." Ouch.

The supposedly "unremarkable" Conrad fired back via Twitter. "I definitely just got called a basic b*tch! Haha! Sausage curls!? Really @Allure_Magazine? She also tweeted a pic of the unflattering article.

Allure has not responded to Conrad's tweet but they have been active on social media, discussing their latest cover girl, Rachel McAdams. Doesn't look like the 28-year old fashionista will be getting a response anytime soon.

C'mon team Conrad let's fight back against derogatory claims of "sausage curls" (whatever the hell that means).
