Beyond pointing out that Ryan Seacrest is "peaches," referencing the fact that she is from Georgia like Ryan, Lauren Alaina impressed judges with her "natural gift" on Wednesday's American Idol. According to one of the judges, Alaina reminded them of past 'Idol' winners.
"You have a natural gift. You have that natural talent but I don't even believe you know how good you are. Jennifer is right, there is so much more there," said Randy Jackson Wednesday. "So Kelly Clarkson was our first winner. You remind of a combination of her, meets Carrie (Underwood)... you've got the Urban, the R&B runs ... I am a fan."
Following performances from hopefuls including Ashton Jones, who received comparisons to Diana Ross, Alaina also received praise from Steven Tyler.
"I love you, you're the best," said Tyler. "They haven't seen the best of you yet."
American Idol returns Thursday, naming the top 10 (FOX).
