American Idol 2011 top 3 finalist, 16-year-old Lauren Alaina was overwhelmed during her hometown visit to Atlanta, Georgia! With fans screaming and cameras flashing all around her, she breathed in every moment and loved it!
From the airplane, Alaina went to the FOX station in Chattanooga. She led a parade through the city with bands from Soddy Daisy High School and Fort Olgelthorpe Lakeview High School; the schools she attended. She also made it to Walnut Street Bridge to meet thousands of fans at Coolidge Park where she sang a few of her songs through tears.

She was happy to be home to spend time with her close family as well. While being interviewed, Alaina couldn't help but to hold back more tears!
Lauren Alaina said, "I could not be anymore blessed than I am right now."
She received the key to the city from the mayor and her judges' song choice was revealed. It is Lee Ann Womack's, I Hope You Dance.
