Laura Bush is upset by a gay marriage ad that is airing on television. On Feb. 21, Yahoo reported that Laura is upset about the ad that is airing and she did not give them permission to do it.
The Respect for Marriage Coalition made the ad which includes a remark that Laura Bush made in the past. In a 2010 interview, she was on "Larry King Live" and talked about gay marriage. She said: "When couples are committed to each other and love each other, then they ought to have the same sort of rights that everyone has."
Laura Bush did not tell them that they could use in her in the television ad and she wants them to take it down. She is not happy that they thought this was okay to do without her consent. Dick Cheney is also in the ad and they plan to start another new one this week.
