Laura Bush and same-sex marriage

Oh Laura. There are no do-overs. If so, we would go back a decade and prevent the tragedy your husband called the War for Iraqi Freedom. Or maybe the press referred to it that way. Wait, both the administration and the media used this deceptive name and narrative. Repeatedly.

Ms. Bush, on the Larry King show a few years hence said the following: When couples are committed to each other and love each other, then they ought to have, I think, the same sort of rights that everyone has.”

It would be like weighing in on a cause and effect. Such as? Well, Laura Bush will soon encounter situations, which will cause her to rue her recent, cowardly act.

As for God selecting George W to run this country. Perhaps. This is the same God who created and then destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.
