Before they had a baby, Barbie and Ken never imagined that ANYBODY could poop that much! Not only that, but all those cute little baby outfits were barfed on or filled with poop almost immediately, and their glamorous lifestyle was a thing of the distant past. Barbie found it was difficult to even squeeze in a quick shower while the baby napped! When Ken had nothing left to wear but a paper bag, they realized they had no choice but to do the mountain of laundry that had accumulated.
Anyway, now that I have your attention, there's a great way to save money heating your house while doing the laundry! See that scruffy cream-colored box with the giant foil tube and Hello Kitty tape on it in the lead photo? That foil tube is the dryer vent, and instead of being directed outside, where you pay to blow expensive hot air outdoors, it is attached to the box that sits on top of the dryer, and is filled with water, which catches the debris. Nice, clean, hot air is blown into the room, and successfully aids in heating the house. This box costs between $12 and $20, and is well worth it. I'm surprised more American homes don't have these, as I have been told that they are fairly common in Europe. You will see an immediate benefit in cost savings and in household warmth. Who would have thought Barbie and Ken were so thrifty?
