The second chakra, “one’s own,” is the seat of creativity and passion if you lived with your emotions in a repressed state, it is your creativity and expression that suffered. The second chakra is water, the tears, kidney, blood and menstruation and sometimes the sweat of it all. Laughter is the best medicine.
Fear of pleasure, being out of touch with it all, fighting change
The developed second chakra is all about “going with the flow.” If going with the flow is difficult for you back up to the first chakra, “getting thing in order” and getting things in alignment and safe for you, so that through your second chakra you are able to feel emotional freedom and sensual movement.
Vitality leaks
Instead of screaming your emotions to others, you need to make your emotions heard to yourself, they are telling you something alright, you have issues that need healing and release. You have a hole in the dyke that needs addressing. The odd number of feminine chakras wish to calm and cool, when the even numbered masculine chakras want to exude and force out. Sexual problems can get bound up here showing up as pain in the hips and lower back as; addiction-overstimulation or shutting down altogether-under stimulation.
A laugh a day will help keep therapy away
There are a variety of meditations and yoga poses to induce release and adjustment but the best way to cure this cause is by laughing and playing. Stepping outside of the daily grind and having a good healthy spontaneous time. Singing, telling jokes, dancing, playing fun games, coloring, making funny faces help the heart find its morning refreshed.
“I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose.” –Woody Allen
Creativity is joy
A fine romance in it’s own little world. Some little surprise thing to make you smile the rest of your day. Hello birdie, early spring buds and blossoms, reality is something you rise above. Give your eyeballs and nose some relief. Creamy roses from the florist or forced bulbs on your sill, what’s more wonderful that that on a snowy crisp day?
Remember lightening, bugs, crickets and frogs?
“The ground is thick with slush and sleet and I can barely feel my feet.”-Anonymous
The winds are wild, they chill and bite. There are still a great deal of things to enjoy about the winter before the season gets away. Hot tea water boiling on a warm stove, thick socks and inside it’s cozy and warm. Count your blessings out loud, bring warm soup to a lost friend, massages and shoulder rubs, and long hot baths it some lovely smelling bath salts.
