Laughter, the best medicine

Happiness and a positive outlook on life are connected to the health benefits of laughter. Inspired by my oldest granddaughter, I conducted a study on happiness and compiled my research into a book titled, Live Well; Live Happy! I don’t think people have enough happiness in their lives, and when they aren’t happy, you can bet there isn’t any laughter. I challenge you to live well, and live happy by implementing laughter into your life. The health benefits include:

• Increases blood flow
• Give a workout to the diaphragm and abdominal, respiratory, facial, leg, and back muscles
• Reduces stress

• Helps you relax
• Aids in sleep
• Dulls pain
• Increases your energy level
• Decreases anger or guilt
• Improves relationships
• Burns a few calories
• Increases oxygen levels
• Increases your sense of humor
