Latino groups Chicanos Unidos Arizona, Take Back Aztlan and Nuestros Reconquistos will hold demonstrations at the Phoenix Public Library and several synogogues in Maricopa County this weekend. The protesters will demand that our leaders stop supporting Israel's terrorism of Palestine and other countries in the Middle East.
"I have a lot of Jewish friends, but it is unfair that they own the U.S. media and refuse to publicize most of Israel's wrongdoings," says Jorge Serrano of Take Back Aztlán."
"Latinos know what it's like to have their land stolen," says Pablo Cruz of Nuestros Reconquistos. "Israel is occupying land that belongs to Palestinians and America is occupying land that belongs to Mexico."
