The California Republican Party informed that the “groundbreaking statewide town hall series ‘California Speaks Out’ comes to the California Republican Party (CRP) fall convention in Los Angeles with another historic event –its first-ever Latino town hall

The convention will be held on September 16-18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and the Latino town hall is schedule for Saturday September 17 from 2:30 to 4:00 PM

The Party invites Hispanics to join CRP Chairman Tom Del Beccaro and Santiago Lucero- host of Univision’s popular public affairs program, “Voz y Voto”- and other leading Latino voices in an open discussion about how jobs and the economy are affecting California’s Latino community.

The discussion is designed to identify key local issues and build relationships with America’s largest Latino Community.

Hispanics constitute 48% of the population in Los Angeles or 1,838,822 persons. The majority voters are registered Democrats and the Republican Party want to capitalize on the Latino disillusionment with president Obama’s policies. They will court the Latino vote for the 2012 presidential race.
