October 15, 2011 – From the 10 freeway, Cocopalm Restaurant at night looks like an oasis of light at the top of the hill. The palm tress wrapped in small white lights stand like a fortress surrounding the venue, which opens its doors to you between waterfalls and exotic birds.
Cocopalm Restaurant operates every day of the week but Monday. Chef Felipe Castro prepares flavors described as “modern Latin gastronomy mixed with classic old Spain and influenced by the new Americas.” For both lunch and dinner, Cocopalm Restaurant’s menu offers from casual food like a Sandwich Cubano to elaborate dishes like a Paella Valenciana.
To round up the experience, Cocopalm Restaurant combines the pleasure of good food with the excitement of Salsa dancing. Every Friday night, Chino Espinoza y los Duenos del Son, one of the most sought-after Salsa bands in Los Angeles, performs in the Coco Room from 10 pm until 1.30 am, with SuperDJRobby’s selections of modern hits between band sets. The Coco Room bursts with people who can enjoy the entertainment, even without dinner, for a $10 cover charge. Valet parking is $5.
Cocopalm Restaurant is located at 1600 Fairplex Drive, in Pomona. Find out more about its food and its entertainment at http://www.cocopalmrestaurant.com
