April highlights the most important event for the Latin music industry. Billboards' the world's most influential music brand. The Billboards Conference & Awards features live entertainment and awards recognizing some of the most distinguished artists around the world. As usual, Miami is hosting the Latin version of such renowned events.
In a press release, the Latin Billboards which will be presented by State Farm, announced the attendants who have confirmed their assistance to the conference. Executives from recognized Marketing and Entertainment agencies will be keynote speakers this year. Award winning recording artist, Carlos Vives is one of the speakers. The Colombian singer songwriter signed a new contract early this year with the record label SONY Music. The label has supported the artist since the beginning of his musical career. Vives returned after eight years of absence to the stage stronger than ever hitting the first places on the Latin Hot Airplay Billboards. Regarding to SONY Vives said in an interview with El Tiempo “Is the label where I recorded my first CD’s, they got me out the the bars in Bogota. Now they're giving me the opportunity to take my work to the last corner of Spain.” Moreover, SONY will be represented by the SVP Business Development in the Latin region, Spain and Portugal, Ruben Leyva in the conference. Additionally, they will be joined by Telemundo media President Emilio Romano, Zumba Fitness Co-Founder and CCO Beto Perez and Co-Founder and CEO Alberto Perlman, Spotify Global Business Operations Kal Amin and Marcos Juarez Latin Music curator and programmer of Pandora. Other companies joining the 2013 Latin Billboards Conference are VEVO, Deezer, Goya, MUVE music and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.

The people that are leading the conversation in Latin music are our featured speakers. The 2013 Billboard Conference and Awards will be featuring “The Marketing Exchange” which focuses on the latest trends in Latin music marketing. The event will also host the Billboards Latin Music Marketing Awards with the purpose of recognizing the integration of music and marketing, the awards will be presented by Telemundo and mun2.
The 2013 Latin Billboards Conference will be held at the JW Marriot Marquis Miami between April 23-25, 2013.
