We checked with Ringo Starr's representative this week to get the latest word about his health. And the word is good.
To recap, the former Beatle missed the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, where he was announced as a presenter, the MusiCares benefit honoring Paul McCartney and the Walk of Fame ceremony, where it was announced he was feeling "under the weather."
On Feb. 13, it was announced pneumonia was the reason he didn't attend. "Ringo has pneumonia and unfortunately he and Barbara regretted they weren't able to attend MusiCares and he had to cancel his participation as a Presenter in this year's Grammys," his representative told us in a statement.
But in response to our inquiry, she indicated he's doing much better.
"He is absolutely great!," she told us by email.
