The latest iOS update for iOS devices, 6.1.3 is now available on iTunes and through a device's General settings. But many existing iPhone users must take notice that this new update includes a patch that blocks the EvasOn iOS 6.1 Jailbreak tool.
In addition, the new update includes fixing a bug that could allow someone to bypass the iPhone passcode and access the device's app. Previously on iOS 6.1, hackers were able to listen to voice mails, view and alter contacts and view photos. Shortly after this vulnerability was discovered last month, Apple announced it was working on a fix. Despite rolling out iOS 6.1.2 less than a week later, it didn’t completely eliminate the ability to bypass an iPhone’s security lock
The new update is for iPhone 3GS and later, iPod touch (fourth generation) and later, and the iPad 2 and later, including the iPad Mini.
The complete details on the iOS 6.1.3 update can be found on Apple’s support site.
