Four ninja (one player and three CPU opponents) battle it out with one another in an attempt to collect Battle Orbs, which are gained by attacking opponents, the character with the most orbs at the end of the match is the winner. The tournament entrants will compete in tiered battles, working their way up to the S-ranked battles, in the hopes of being crowned the ultimate ninja.
