Latest Beatles 'Yellow Submarine' products feature travel mugs, glassware

Ever since the Beatles released "Yellow Submarine" in 1968 the film has been a popular item to license for sales of Beatles merchandise. Some of the latest (and for a change affordable) "Yellow Submarine" products were announced this week as part of a group of 89 new products, both Beatles and non-Beatles, from Vandor. The company is no stranger to licensed Yellow Submarine items. Their previous Beatles products have included "Yellow Submarine" lunchboxes.

The new Beatles products include (see slideshow) a “Yellow Submarine” 16 oz. plastic travel mug with a snap-on lid. Suggested list price is $6.99. Also available is a “Yellow Submarine” album cover metal sign. The item features a reproduction of the album cover on heavy guage metal and has hangers on the back. Suggested list price is $13.99.

Finally, there's a four piece glassware set with a "Yellow Submarine" design. The glasses have the “Yellow Submarine” design on the front and an image of each Beatle on the bottom. The set is packed in a full color open window gift box. Suggested retail price is $17.99.

Though the new ones aren't listed yet there yet, items by Vandor have been available on Amazon.com in the past. They should also be available at regular retail outlets and at the Beatles Love store in Las Vegas. 
 
Additionally, the company also announced new items this week associated with lines for the movies "Star Wars" to Betty Boop and DC Comics.
