Late-term miscarriage: Jack Osbourne and his wife Lisa Stelly have lost their baby boy in her second trimester. Jack, who is the son of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, was just diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in June last year. Despite Lisa’s late-term miscarriage and Jack Osbourne’s multiple sclerosis diagnosis, 27-year-old Jack is participating in this season’s “Dancing With the Stars,” reported the Los Angeles Times on Sept. 6, 2013.
Lisa Stelly shared her late-term miscarriage on her blog on Thursday, Sept. 5.
“I have been dreading this announcement…. I needed some time before being able to say it. Jack and I lost our baby boy last week. Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through. We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time. It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives."
The blog announcement of Lisa’s late-term miscarriage during her second trimester was signed by both of them; “Jack & Lisa.”
Just a month ago, in early August, Jack Osbourne and his wife Lisa Stelly had announced that they were expecting their second child. Their daughter Pearl was born in April 2012.
"Jack and I are super excited to share with you all that we are expecting our second baby!" Lisa said in August. "I am in my second trimester, feeling great & trying not to eat everything in sight."
On Wednesday, Jack Osbourne was named as one of the contestants on the upcoming season of "Dancing With the Stars." Following their announcement of Lisa’s late-term miscarriage, Jack Osbourne has continued his rehearsals for “Dancing With the Stars.” On Friday, he left the rehearsal studio wearing dark glasses.
“I give myself a daily injection of MS medication," Jack shared about his experience with multiple sclerosis. “I’ve also made a lifestyle change, minimizing stress, exercising regularly.”
Losing a baby after the first trimester can have many different causes and devastating physical and psychological effects.
On her Twitter page, Lisa wrote late at night on Sept. 5, 2013, about how she and Jack are dealing with their late-term miscarriage loss of their baby boy.
“Cuddling my amazing, sweet hubby & shutting my eyes. Thank you all for the love & support. It means the world.”
