Late-term miscarriage: Some sad celebrity news of a late-term miscarriage came from Lisa Osbourne this week on her blog, where she confirmed that she had recently had a miscarriage and lost her baby boy prematurely. ABC Local shared some of the details today on Saturday, Sept. 7.
While Jack Osbourne is said to be competing on the next season of “Dancing with the Stars,” he will likely be doing so carrying a great sadness in his heart. His wife, Lisa, recently took to her blog to share with her readers that she suffered a late-term miscarriage.
Osbourne added that it was a boy she had lost. She was in the middle of her second trimester at the time.
“I have been dreading this announcement…. I needed some time before being able to say it. Jack and I lost our baby boy last week. Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through. We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time. It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives.”
Fan support for the Osbourne family in light of the late-term miscarriage has been overwhelmingly supportive.
“The loss of your baby boy, since this post, will never be forgotten,” wrote just one commenter. "Our prayers are with you."
Jack and Lisa Osbourne have a daughter, Pearl Clementine, who is already just under a year and a half old. This would have been the couple’s second child.
