There are a number of exciting wine and spirit events that you should definitely get on your calendar for August and September. First, an amazing wine and spirits dinner from the experts at Finca and Ransom and then wine educator Jim Santangelo of the Wine Academy of Utah is hosting two events in partnership with the Napa Valley Vintners Ambassador program.
Finca Ransom Wine And Spirits Dinner
Finca is hosting Tad Seestadt of Ransom Wine And Spirits on Monday, August 18 at 6 p.m. Cost is $35 for food and $35 for wine and spirit pairings. Reservations are required and can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Here’s a peek at the menu:

The genius of Jimmy Santangelo and his Wine Academy of Utah has been selected to participate in the Napa Valley Vintners Ambassador program to coordinate and provide various tasting events in the Utah marketplace. These tasting events will include consumer socials, wine dinners and educational seminars for both hospitality professionals and wine enthusiasts to promote the Napa Valley wine-growing region. Two events are currently scheduled as part of the program.
Tasting Tour of Napa Valley
The Leonardo Museum will host a “Tasting Tour of Napa Valley” food and wine social on Sunday, August 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Join us as we taste through the Napa Valley wine growing area. The tasting adventure features food pairing prepared by Leonardo Museum’s Chef Zaneta Jones. There will be six food and wine pairing stations focusing on a different sub appellation of the Napa Valley wine growing region.

Taking over the Taps
10 days in September
BTG Wine Bar will host a “Taking over the Taps”— a ten-day event during the month of September that will feature a variety of wines from Napa Valley. The last evening features a four-course meal paired with eight Napa Valley wines.
