Late night happy hour now at Bahama Breeze

We have written about Bahama Breeze--located in St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville-- several times in the past. One article, which listed the top 5 restaurants in Jacksonville for affordable fine dining, noted the well-price options on the menu at Bahama Breeze. We also included Bahama Breeze in our list of the top 10 best restaurants to eat in Southside Jacksonville. Lastly, Bahama Breeze made our Jacksonville Fine Dining Examiner's best list, where we named it the best new restaurant in Jax.

In our continuing efforts to keep our readership informed about all the latest Jacksonville restaurant news, we would like to let you know that Bahama Breeze is now offering late night Happy Hour. The Happy Hour starts at 9pm until closing on Sunday through Thursday. Happy Hour will feature half-priced appetizers including:

  • Crispy Onion Rings
  • Coconut Shrimp (Jacksonville Fine Dining Examiner recommended)
  • Beef Empanadas
  • Jamaican Chicken Wings
  • Classic Cheeseburger Sliders

Also featured during the Happy Hour are a wide assortment of drinks (many of which are tropical-themed). These Legendary Island Cocktails include 10 original drinks inspired by renowned island bars (for a cool map of where these drinks came from, see this link from the Bahama Breeze website). The cocktails include drinks like the Goombay Smash from the Bahamas (Captain Morgan's, Meyer's Rum, orange, and pineapple juice) and Batida De Coco from Brazil (Leblon Cachaca Rum, Cream of Coconut, and pineapple juice). There are also two new drinks

  • Daisy de Santiago (Chilean-inspired with Bacardi Superior chartresuse with lime juice)
  • Yaka Hula Hickey Dula (from the Hawaiian Islands; includes Myers Dark Rum, pineapple juice, grandadine, and a dash of Riesling)

According to Bahama Breeze Senior Vice President John Wilkerson: "Our guests have increasingly been visiting us later in the evening to enjoy lighter menu offerings with friends, often sharing several of our popular appetizers and catching up over our Legendary Island Cocktails." So, Bahama Breeze is giving its patrons the opportunity to continue this tradition with this exciting new Happy Hour deal.
