Ah yes October is here! We horror fans love the month of October as we are treated each day to settle reminders of our favorite holiday Halloween. Well no one is able to get you more pumped up for Samhain than the folks over at Late Night Grindhouse. This months feature is a rare 35 mm print of the timeless classic Night Of The Living Dead. Even better yours truly is hosting both showings on Friday October 4th and Saturday October 5th, so come out and get your October started right!
St. Louis’ own Late Nite Grindhouse is proud to host a rare 35mm film screening of a horror classic. George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead will be unspooling onto the big screen at the Hi-Pointe Theatre this weekend!
The story follows characters Ben (Duane Jones), Barbara (Judith O’Dea), and five others trapped in a rural farmhouse in Pennsylvania which is attacked by unnamed “living dead” monsters which later became known in popular culture as zombies.
Both nights should be packed so get there early to get the best seat in the house. Doors are at 11:30 so make sure you are there for LNGH creator Andy Triefenbach great pre show trailers.
