Martin Creek Falls is a three tier waterfall. The highest point on this waterfall is 35 feet. The trail leading to Martin Creek Falls meanders near a creek on the Bartram trail, which will lead explorers on a 20 minute hike to a beautiful lush area.
Martin Creek Falls was a daytime trip for two of my subscribers, Tommy and Linda.
They found sunshine, a summer's hot day filled with an eagerness to explore. Martin Creek Falls is a very inviting spot also for campers.
An area for camping can be found near the trail leading towards the falls.
The waterfalls' waters are very cold but are very good to cool off in after a 1.3 mile hike. Martin Creek Falls is a perfect hike for couples who enjoy hiking. The trail is noted to be difficult as seen on this site: http://www.n-georgia.com/becky-branch-martin-creek-falls.htm.
Remember to bring water on this adventure, especially with the summertime heat approaching.
