In the temperatures below freezing, the citizens of Tahlequah came out to see the re-scheduled Christmas Parade, that was supposed to start on the dot at 6.

There were some great entries from marching bands and bag pipes to entries from local businesses and religious organizations with some other entries in between.

For being as cold as it was that night there were quite a few families out braving the elements, as at the very last minute the barriers were being put up to block the streets on the sides.

The children were all awaiting the arrival of Santa Clause. Once he arrived at the end of the parade, the children were asking their parents, why is Santa in the backseat of a big red truck and not in the sleigh?

All and all the parade for what it was, was not bad for not starting on time. Maybe next year it will be kink free, and not so many entrants will be throwing candy from their floats.

It will be interesting to see what happens next year.

May your holiday be blessed and your new year be fabulous!
