The last photo of a deceased grandmother might be credited to Google maps. On Sept. 30 it was reported that "Grandma Alice" -- who passed away last year -- can be seen on her front steps reading the newspaper in a photo that was found on Google maps. The family has been looking at the photo for quite some time and they believe that this was the last picture of their family member ever taken.
The Moore family is happy to have such a photo to remember Alice by but it's only a matter of time before Google maps updates and the photo disappears into the past.
"I made the joke with my brother. I was like, 'well grandma's gone but she still somehow lives on in Google and is watching over us," said one of Alice's grandchildren (the one who found the photo), Dustin. It is unknown whether or not the photo can be saved in any way (perhaps by screenshot) so that Alice's family can have it as a keepsake.
