Last minute tips for watching ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 11 ‘Homecoming’

Tonight, “Revenge” will be back for the first of three weekly episodes before going on hiatus until March, Episode 11, “Homecoming,” will focus on the rescue and recovery of Emily Thorne/Grayson. Matt Cater summed it up nicely on Jan. 4 when he offered some tips on what to watch for in this episode.

The big question on everyone’s mind is who is Emily Thorne? We know Daniel shot her on their wedding night after learning she faked a pregnancy to get him to marry her. She fell overboard and was missing when the show ended. From the previews, it is clear she has been found but she seems to be suffering from amnesia. Is that really what’s going on or is Emily adapting to the change in her plans and faking this too?

We do know that actually being shot and winding up in the hospital was not in the original plan so either she really has lost her memory or she is good at thinking on her feet, so to speak.

So far in the photos ABC has released form the episode, Emily gets three visitors, Charlotte, Aiden and Daniel. It’s likely there will be more and that could be very telling.

Since Daniel is the only one that we know of who knows what really happened, finding Emily is going to be a big problem for him. How he deals with her and her recovery will set up what we can expect from him for the rest of the season.

Earlier spoilers said Jack was going to have a bigger role and we expect that will kick in about ….now.

Victoria knows Emily is not who she says she is but the Grayson matriarch hasn’t got it all figured out yet. She will be using what she knows to her fullest advantage and working to find out even more.

“Homecoming” should be an edge-of-your-seat kind of episode. Tune in at 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 for “Revenge.”
