Columbus mobile gamers looking to take advantage of some last minute Christmas deals need to check out the 99 cent app sale EA being thrown by EA. This 99 cent price sale, which began yesterday, also includes iPad games, so this makes a great time to stock up on quality tablet gaming for the holidays.

And if 99 cents seems too expensive, Apple's 2011 iPhone Game of the Year, Tiny Tower, remains free! Columbus gamers can build their own Leveque Tower.

EA Sports' iPad games for 99 cents

EA's holiday app sale includes almost their entire line of EA Sports titles. World football fans need to check out FIFA Soccer 12 which includes 22 licensed leagues with 500 teams and over 15,00 players!

With the FIFA Soccer's Manager Mode, gamers can trade players, scout for new talent, and have control over tactics and player development. Can Queens Park Rangers stay in the English Premier League this season? Can the Columbus Crew win another MLS Cup? It's in the game!

American gridiron buffs will be pleased to hear the iPad version of Madden 12 is also on sale for 99 cents. Considering some of the poor reviews of the game on the App Store, it's better to risk the sale price than the full ten dollars!

Casual Gaming on the iPad on sale

Fans of casual or family gaming also have options with EA's holiday app sale. Scrabble for the iPad is currently priced at 99 cents. What's better for Christmas than The Game of Life for only 99 cents?

The recently released free play version of The Sims is also available, although Mrs. Columbus Mobile Gaming Examiner feels that the game moves too slowly without spending on in-app purchases.

Whatever the genre, there's sure to be something worth checking out for the savvy mobile gamer in EA's Holiday App Sale.
