Last minute Halloween costumes for kids

See also

Halloween is just two short days away. If you are still grasping for costume ideas for your child, don't fret! Here are a few super-easy last-minute ideas that make for a great costume!

Raining Cats and Dogs: If your child has mountains of stuffed animals, this costume is for you. Just pick out a few of your kids stuffed cats and dogs and hot glue them to the outside of an umbrella. Any umbrella will do. They can wear regular clothes or take it one step further by wearing a rain coat and rain boots. Easy and clever.

Mad Scientist: Do you have a crazy youngster running around your house? Why not turn them into a mad scientist this Halloween? All you need is a white "lab coat", rubber kitchen gloves, safety goggles, and a plastic bottle shaped like a beaker. Most, if not all of these, can be found at stores like the Dollar Tree. Then just give your child a messy hairdo and let them loose to trick or trick!

Little Miss/Mr. Sunshine: Is your child full of sunshine? Then dress them up as Little Miss/Mr. Sunshine with just three easy steps. Dress them in yellow. Cut a sun shape out of felt and stick it to the front of their outfit. Buy or make a sash and draw the words "Little Miss/Mr. Sunshine" onto it with a sharpie or craft paint. Sunny and sweet.
