Last House Productions to host Milwaukee Fundraiser for their next film

Portland, Maine based Last House Productions is hosting an event they call "The LAST HOUSE party". The event is a fundraiser set up by producer and Milwaukee native Matthew Konkel. The fundraiser is to help raise money for Last House Productions newest cinematic undertaking, "Neptune". The film is described in the press release as "an exploration of an orphaned adolescent’s manic journey to self discovery, dictated by the tragic death and disappearance of a peer and the solitude of life on a small Maine island”. Films to be screened at the fundraiser include:

I Want You To Know: A young boy’s misdeed comes back to haunt him on a camping trip with his father. 16 minutes.

The Bully: Shot entirely in Wisconsin, two ten year olds plan to take out the local bully to impress a popular girl. 26 minutes.

The Somniloquist: Described by the press release as “a recluse artist’s world is thrown when he discovers something confounding about his nocturnal activities” 16 minutes.

Are You The Walkers: Two friends decide to spend the weekend in to Maine woods. Their friendship is tested when a massive snowstorm hits and a voice from the storm calls to them. 28 minutes.

The festival is set to take place on March 29th at 7:30 pm at Verduras Tea House And Cafe located at 181 N. Broadway. The suggested donation is $5-$10 at the door. There will be giveaways of ticket’s to Pink Banana’s night of one-act plays. Also to be given away are two tickets to Milwaukee Chamber theatre’s production of Bus Stop! The giveaways will also include four VIP passes to the Milwaukee Short Film Festival.
