Get some great spooky fun today (October 31) at Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City with the final Halloween Hoot this year. Throughout the day the aviary will have a range of spooky-themed activities, including:
- Owl encounters
- Autumn-themed crafts
- Face painting

- Hay maze
Don't forget to stroll around the aviary to see the festive decorations and plenty of pumpkins, and be sure to visit Owl Forest for some spooky face-to-beak action with Tracy Aviary's most popular autumn residents, including the great gray owls, northern saw-whet owl, barred owls and other hoot-riffic feathered friends. If you want to see other spooky Halloween birds, check out the turkey vultures, king vultures and Andy the Andean condor!
The fun starts today at 10 a.m., and anyone in costume receives 50 percent off the regular admission price. Regular prices are $7 for adults, $6 for students and senior citizens, $5 for children, and children age 2 and younger are free. Please note that pets are not allowed in the aviary, no matter if they are in costume or not.
