FAMILY FEST: A Day of Magic and Enchantment
Saturday, March 31, 2012
11:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Thomson Plaza for the Arts

It's the final free Family Fest of the season, so you don't want to miss it! Come out and enjoy family-friendly outdoor activities and performances celebrating the theme of "Magic and Enchantment".

Your entire family will have a blast at this fun-filled day of music, dancing, hands-on demonstrations, and mini-workshops. The day's festivities even include a FREE Performance of excerpts from Miami City Ballet's Coppélia at 2:00 PM at the Ziff Ballet Opera House.

The charm and humor of this classic romantic comedy, plus the sheer joy of its Delibes score, have kept Coppélia in the repertory ever since its Paris premiere in 1870. Franz loves Swanilda—except when he has eyes for Coppélia, who turns out to be a mechanical doll!

All First-Access Passes for Coppélia have been reserved. However, guests who do not have First-Access Passes can join the Stand-By line beginning at 1 p.m. outside the theater. Patrons in the Stand-By line will be seated on a first come, first-serve basis at 1:45 p.m. when First-Access Passes expire.
