Those who are accepted into the BFIG 2014 will have a chance to show off their creations to thousands of people on September 13. Those who attend will also get the chance to vote for their favorite showcases. Winners will receive a coveted Figgie award. These awards are given out for both the Table Top showcases and Digital showcases.

In addition to trying out some of the best game in Indie development, there will be talks and sessions that people will be able to attend. This year, the keynote speakers will be Ashly Burch of "Hey Ash, Watcha Playin'?" and Sarah Elmaleh who played the voice of Katie in the game "Gone Home."

The Boston Festival of Indie games will be held at the Johnson Athletic Center as well as the student center at MIT. Tickets are still available and only cost $10. They also have "Family Packs" available where if you order two or more general admissions, the price of tickets will only cost you $7.50. You can order them online here.
