Jennifer Pierotti will be breaking down complex postures in two Building Blocks 101 workshops at All About Yoga: one for backbending on Friday, Oct. 25, and another for hip opening on Friday, Nov. 15. 6:30 – 8 p.m. for both classes. In hip opening, Jennifer will focus on padmasana—the component parts and actions required to perform the pose, how to prevent injury and how to work with existing injuries. In the backbending workshop, understanding the actions required to perform Urdvha Dhanurasana (upward facing bow) and how to protect and foster healing in back injuries is the focus.
