Las Vegas writers group

Enter the glass the doors of the Tap House, turn right before the bar, and you'll enter an eclectic group of friendly writers you'll ever get to meet in one night. This is the Las Vegas Writers Group.

This is a pleasant chance to meet new friends who are writers, share information and promote your writing. As a new member, you have an opportunity to introduce yourself to the group with other new friends during the meeting. Members are friendly and encouraging. You'll never feel out of place.

For further information on the Las Vegas Writers Group, tune in to the Vegas Voice Radio Hour on Thursday, February 4, 2010 on KLAV Radio. LVWG organizer, Richard Warren, will offer more insight on the benefits of joining this writers group.

You can also listen to the program on your computer.

As a writer, make new friends by exchanging information at the meeting. Talk about your book, or ask questions about finishing your manuscript.

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. This month's speaker is Debra Belcoff, former manager of Borders Express in the Meadows Mall. She will share her insights on book retailing.

Email Richard Warren for more information about the LVWG. It's free to join and make new friends. Donate $5.00 at the door for each meeting.

The Tap House is located at 5589 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas.

My grandfather told me about this writers club and the thought is enticing. I have been writing since I was little and it is the one thing I can say I have a knac for. I have been writing short stories, songs, poetry, and research papers. I love surrounding myself in another world by escaping in the words of a well written book and I look forward to meeting with a group that shares some of the same views.
