One of Las Vegas' largest residential real estate brokerages is taking on one of corporate America's most famous names. At Prudential Americana Group's annual general sales meeting, CEO Mark Stark made the official announcement that the company will rebrand itself as Berkshire Hathaway Home Services - Nevada Properties. The Arizona arm of the company will be called Berkshire Hathaway Home Services - Arizona Properties.
Berkshire Hathaway is headed by billionaire investor Warren Buffet. Stark says, the rebranding aligns Prudential Americana Group with one of the world's "most incredible, respected and trusted companies." Berkshire Hathaway bought the Prudential Real Estate brand in October 2012. The name change in Nevada will take place on April 29th of this year.
Last year, Prudential Americana Group posted a record of $2.5 billion in sales. The brokerage is the fourth largest Prudential real estate franchise in the United States with nearly 2,000 agents in Nevada and Arizona.
