Las Vegas has again practically swept the Nightclub & Bar Awards with 8 out of the Top 10 spots in Revenue-Generating. The last few years, Las Vegas Clubs have been reigning as King of the Nightlife world and have had specific categories named for the exclusive 24-hour city.
This year the 5-Star Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino’s Nightclub, Marquee has taken the top spot, leap-frogging Steve Wynn Properties’ Mega-Clubs, Tryst(Wynn) & XS(Encore), which previously held the Number 1 & 9 spots. While XS still came in at the number 2 spot, Tryst has fallen to the 13 spot, most likely due to the dismissal of co-managing partner and Paris Hilton Beau, Cy Waits. Waits was let go as Co-Managing Partner after a drug arrest in front of Wynn’s properties. The following is a list of the Top 10 with their corresponding Hotels/Casinos.
- Marquee – Cosmopolitan $70-80 MM
- XS – Encore $60-70 MM
- TAO – Venetian $60-70 MM
- Pure – Caesar’s Palace $45-60 MM
- LIV – Miami, FL $35-45 MM
- LAX – Luxor $35-45 MM
- Haze – Aria $35-45 MM
- Surrender – Encore $35-45 MM
- The Bank – Bellagio $25-35 MM
- Lavo – New York, NY $25-35 MM
The Top 100 nightclub operators will be recognized during the 2012 Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas March 12-14.
