The Color Purple

Venue: Reynolds Hall

Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Alice Walker, and adapted from director Steven Spielberg’s film version, The Color Purple tells the story of Celie, a poor and uneducated fourteen-year-old African American girl living in rural Georgia in the 1930s. The winner of eleven Tony Awards, The Color Purple is a touching musical with a moving and delightful score featuring jazz, gospel and blues.

Rod Stewart: The Hits

Returning to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the legendary icon himself, Rod Stewart. Signed on for a two year residency, Rod Stewart will be presenting The Hits, a show that features a collection of his most beloved songs. A career that has spanned 50 years, Rod Stewart shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. Perhaps he really is Forever Young.
