Cathouse Photo by Melanie Lee
Cathouse is fairly central in regards to the lobby and parking garage. It’s pretty hard to miss the shiny red quilted wall at the entrance of the restaurant/club.
What to Expect Inside
Upon entering, take the staircase to the second floor (the scenic route). The hall is lined with burlesque style photos that add to the plush feel of the club and restaurant. At the top, you enter into the Chandelier Room/bar (restaurant) area of Cathouse (playing house music), and from there you can enter the loungerie (playing hip hop). The booths in the restaurant feature several high tables for dining and a number of low tables for drinking. In the club, the booths have privacy curtains adding to the intimate lounge effect. Featured DJs Starkillers and Austin Leeds reside at Ménage Mondays.
The Best Deals
As usual, information on prices and specials was given by representatives from the venue. VIP Managers Tom Phelps and Thai Garrett gave me a breakdown of deals at Cathouse on Mondays. Admission is free for locals and those on the guestlist! While drink prices are the norm for the Strip (averaging about $12-15 each), ladies can snag a deal with free champagne until midnight! For tables, plan in advance and contact a host. With advance bookings, hosts can offer $200 bottles of Skyy (a good deal when bottle prices on the Strip frequently start at $300 each) or sometimes 2 for 1 specials on regular priced bottles (these start at $375). Locals, check the MGM/Mirage page for information on $100 off regular priced bottles!
