Come out and join the local Southern Nevada Hunter/Jumper Association on February 25-28 at Horseman’s Park in east Las Vegas. SNHJA kicks off their first show of the season this Thursday judged by Nancy Nordstrom of Escondido, California.
SNHJA shows are a great practice opportunity in front of well respected judges. Showing locally is good for our economy and certainly easier on the budget than hauling out of town. SNHJA does a great job with year end prizes and their annual awards banquet. For more information about joining SNHJA or showing in their local events, visit their website at http://www.snhja.com/.
Family, friends and fans of horse showing are always welcome at Horseman’s Park. If you bring your dog to the venue, please remember to have them on a leash at all times.
Horseman’s Park is located at 5800 East Flamingo Road just east of Sam’s Town. The park is easily accessed off the 95/515, by exiting at the Flamingo exit and heading east. Take Flamingo east past the Boulder Highway and you will find the horse park located at Jimmy Durante Blvd and E Flamingo Road.
