The World's largest Ferris wheel is now open in Las Vegas. On April 1, Yahoo shared the news about the big Ferris wheel that gives you one of the best views on the strip. This is only one of many rides on the Vegas strip.

The Ferris wheel is 550-foot high and it is a 30 minute ride while you are on it. New York and Dubai both have Ferris wheel's planned out that will be bigger, but they are not complete. That makes this one the biggest in the world, but that won't last for long.

You are inside of a sphere pod when you go up on this Ferris wheel and not a normal small little seat with just a bar over your lap. It looks extremely safe and takes you up really high, but passengers said that they are not feeling any wind at all when on the ride.

It has 28 different enclosed pods and they can hold 40 people each. They do have air conditioning in them. Tickets are from $24.95 up to $59.95 depending on if you want front of the line or go during the day or night. You won't miss this Ferris wheel as you walk down the strip.
