This week’s POP event at Ultrabar with feature guest DJ set by Sin City’s DJ Scene Friday July 15 in the District. The club will be open one hour later on the main floor. This is also the grand opening of a new exclusive open bar in Chroma's VIP level 10pm- 1am. Doors open at 9pm and allow an 18 and over crowd. Ladies 21 and over will be allowed free admission before midnight and guys 21 and over will gain free entry before 11pm.
The creators of Glow, DC’s biggest electronic dance music events new pop theme, a new Friday night gala, aptly name Pop, an ode to all things Pop-culture. The event is realized through special guest DJ’s, models, celebrities, athletes, movie premieres, artists and edgy theme nights.
DJ Scene’s distinct style of scratching, live remixing and blending classic party anthems, spans every genre from AC/DC to Jay-Z, 80′s to pop. He has performed with everyone from 50 Cent, Ludacris, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Jurassic 5, The Roots, De La Soul, DJ Premier, DJ AM, Common, Public Enemy, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Method Man, and many others.
Scene currently has a weekly mix show every Saturday on WILD 94.9 FM in San Francisco, a podcast that reaches 185,000 plus subscribers weekly. Originally from Seattle, he mixed 5 days a week on air with KUBE 93.3 FM, while prerecording for XM Satellite Radio 67 ‘The City’. Scene has also reached plenty of ears through Myspace where he has over 1.5 million plays of his exclusive remixes and live recordings.
The grand opening Pop event featured Lady Gaga’s official DJ VH1, spinning a unique blend of pop and mash-ups held on the main floor of Ultrabar and was a huge success, followed by the 15th Anniversary of Panorama Productions and the official Twilight: Eclipse movie premiere party, a special performance by former Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones, an Aphrodite album release party for Kylie Minogue, reality television’s most talked about dad Jon Gosselin, YouTube sensation Samuel Adams, DJ Skeet Skeet, and much more on the way.
Ultrabar features 6 bars, 5 levels, and 4 different DJ lineups where each floor of the club will feature its own unique twist for the night.

- Vault-Basement: DJ Maskell (Pop Music, Dance)
- Bedroom: DJ's Bomba and NV (Latin Pop, Merengue, Salsa, World)
