Larry Pratt warns that President Obama is building a private militia

Gun sales in the U.S. must have taken a slight dip, because Gun Owners of America's Larry Pratt has once again crawled out of his hole in the wall to renew his warnings that President Obama is going to confiscate guns and form a private militia.

Pratt had supposedly invited fellow lunatic Selwyn Duke onto his Gun Owners News Hour to discuss the death of Nelson Mandela and race relations in the United States, but given the former's ties to white supremacists and Holocaust deniers and the latter's obsession with white suppression and gay secession, it was hardly surprising that the two of them instead wanted to take turns ranting about Obama trying to start a race war.

Duke began by referencing a 2013 column he had written suggesting that Obama may be creating a "martial law ready military" consisting of minorities, women and homosexuals.

"I'm not saying there’s anything nefarious going on here for sure,” Duke told Pratt, but added that if you "wanted to have the military on your side…you would do it by implementing the exact same policies that Barack Obama has been implementing."

From here, Pratt added his pet conspiracy theory that the president is "building up a civilian defense force, not for defending the country but defending the president."

Pratt even took a moment to muse that the President reminded him of people like Joseph Stalin, Ivan the Terrible, and of course, Adolf Hitler, though would later muse that apartheid in South Africa probably wasn't all that bad.
