Larry Bird's son was arrested in Indiana after allegedly trying to injure his girlfriend. On Feb. 12, TMZ reported that Connor Bird, 21, and his girlfriend got in to a fight that turned pretty violent -- so violent, that Connor tried to run her over... with his car. According to the report, Bird and his girlfriend got in to a fight in his car. His girlfriend got out of the car and began walking... and that's when Bird did the unthinkable.
"Campus police quickly located Bird -- and he was arrested for intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief, battery with injury, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia," TMZ reported.
Larry Bird's son was arrested by Indiana University campus police on Sunday. It is unknown whether or not his girlfriend was injured or what their argument was about. Many are wondering if Connor Bird and his girlfriend had an unhealthy relationship or if he just acted out in the heat of the moment.
Some would say it was safe to assume that Connor and his girlfriend would end their relationship after this incident, but you never know. People do crazy things in relationships and they still end up together, even if it doesn't make any sense on the outside.
Larry Bird's son's arrest wasn't his first run-in with the law, either. According to TMZ, he was arrested in 2011 for "underage drinking and disorderly conduct."
