Basketball legend Larry Bird's 21-year-old son Conner Bird was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, after allegedly attacking his girlfriend. Conner Bird was arrested by Indiana University campus police for apparently trying to hit his girlfriend with his car.
Campus police state that the alleged victim told them that Bird threw a cell phone at her during an argument in his apartment. The phone hit her on the wrist.
It seems that the argument stemmed later into the night as the fight began again after getting into Bird s car to go to an Indiana basketball game. As the fight escalated, she got out of the car to just walk home.
This is when the victim says that Bird began chasing her through the parking lot in his car and attempted to run her over. She says she got help from someone in the parking lot and they flagged down a police officer.
Soon after, Bird was tracked down by campus police and arrested for intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief, battery with injury, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
Larry Bird's son was arrested back in 2011 for underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
